Hello! My name is Evelyn.I'm a writer, filmmaker, and theater artist born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area (Ohlone Land). I graduated from Stanford University, where I received my BA in English with minors in Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity (CSRE) and Theater and Performance Studies (TAPS). While at Stanford, I served as Executive Producer of the Asian American Theater Project and worked on several film and theater productions. My screenplays have been recognized by Final Draft's Big Break (Finalist - Short Script) and by Creative Word Awards (Preliminary Finalist - TV Pilot). I was one of five fellows in The Layar Project's inaugural AAPI Script Lab. I think a lot about family, diaspora, disability, and intersectionality. To take a break from my existential thoughts, I like making birthday cards!
