Hello! My name is Evelyn.I'm a writer, filmmaker, and theater artist born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area (Ohlone Land). I graduated from Stanford University, where I received my BA in English with minors in Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity (CSRE) and Theater and Performance Studies (TAPS). While at Stanford, I served as Executive Producer of the Asian American Theater Project and worked on several film and theater productions. My screenplays have been recognized by Creative Word Awards (Preliminary Finalist) and Final Draft's Big Break (Semifinalist). I was one of five fellows in The Layar Project's inaugural AAPI Script Lab. I think a lot about family, diaspora, disability, and intersectionality. To take a break from my existential thoughts, I like making birthday cards!
