Hello! My name is Evelyn. 

I'm a writer, filmmaker, and theater artist born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area (Ohlone Land). I recently graduated from Stanford University, where I received my BA in English with minors in Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity (CSRE) and Theater and Performance Studies (TAPS). While at Stanford, I served as Executive Producer of the Asian American Theater Project and worked on several film and theater productions. In 2023, I was one of five fellows selected for The Layar Project's first ever AAPI Script Lab. I currently work at Aunt Lute Books, a multicultural feminist press. I'm also in the process of producing a short film. I think a lot about family, diaspora, disability, and intersectionality. To take a break from my existential thoughts, I like making birthday cards!
